The haven
Something for everyone
The Haven is our Learning Support Base, which has been established to provide a quiet and relaxing space for all our pupils. The Haven is available to all our pupils and is used by a diverse sector of the school community including children from all age groups.
A calm environment
The Haven comprises a suite of rooms creating a sanctuary for all pupils to access. It provides time out for pupils who may need a little extra time to prepare for their day or sensory break from their lessons.
The Haven is well-staffed and is used for one-to-one learning and small group interventions, be it for extra support or for stretching and challenging more able learners.
A Supportive Sanctuary
Our dedicated Learning Support Base. This tranquil haven is accessible to all our pupils and serves as a quiet, relaxing space for students of all age groups. Here, students can find solace, regroup, and recharge as they navigate the demands of their education. The Haven symbolises our dedication to creating an environment where each student's individual needs are met and where they can find support to thrive.
Lunchtimes
The Haven is also open and staffed at lunchtimes for pupils to attend to relax, play games and recharge their batteries for afternoon school. There is always a game of chess on the go for budding Grandmasters!
