Heathfield Knoll School is proudly part of the Aldates Global Education network, a forward-thinking group of leading schools and colleges across the UK and overseas. Aldates Global Education acquired Heathfield Knoll School in 2020 with a clear vision: to invest in its future and build upon its long-standing reputation as a distinguished independent school. The partnership is founded on a shared commitment to academic excellence, a nurturing ethos, and a focus on preparing students to become confident, compassionate, and resilient citizens.

Since the acquisition, Aldates Global Education has continued to provide significant investment to enhance the school’s site and facilities. The initial phase of development included a substantial £1 million investment in new builds for a range of specialist subjects, including music, information technology, and food.   

This commitment to modern and generously provisioned spaces is most clearly seen in the new Sebright building, named after the school’s founder, William Sebright. This state-of-the-art building was designed to allow all pupils, from Preschool to secondary age, to access a broadened curriculum, with facilities that include three recording studios and an Apple computing suite.

In addition to promoting the wellbeing of staff and students within its own institutions, Aldates Global Education is also the proud founding partner of the Wellness Centre at the University of Oxford. This unique relationship allows the group to remain at the forefront of educational research and wellbeing initiatives, ensuring that the support provided to Heathfield Knoll pupils is informed by the latest, evidence-based practices.
