First Hello, Lasting Welcome
Every school has a front door, but it’s the people inside who make it feel welcoming.
At Heathfield Knoll, that means the friendly faces who greet our families and visitors, as well as the staff who support our pupils’ wellbeing throughout the school day.
Our Front Desk team help keep the school running smoothly, answer questions and make everyone feel welcome. Meanwhile, our Wellbeing Room and its team provide pastoral support, first aid, a listening ear and a calm space for pupils when they need it.
Different roles, with a shared purpose: helping our school community feel welcomed, supported and cared for.

Our Reception class provides a warm, nurturing foundation where small class sizes ensure every child receives personalized attention, encouragement, and support as they step into formal education.

Will you be standing in their place in April?
We are gearing up for an incredible, action-packed two days of live sport as our Live Sports Tour heads to Cardiff on Friday 23rd April!
Day 1
Departing after lunch on Friday, our group will head straight to Cardiff, check into our hotel, and grab an early dinner before taking our seats at Cardiff Arms Park. We will be soaking up the Friday night atmosphere as Cardiff Rugby take on South Africa’s Pretoria (Vodacom) Bulls in the United Rugby Championship.
Day 2
Saturday kicks off with a morning activity, with options currently being explored including Zip World across the Principality Stadium roof, an iconic stadium tour, or indoor miniature golf.
After lunch, it is an impressive double-header of live fixtures:
First, Wales Women versus Ireland at Cardiff Arms Park in the Women’s Six Nations.
Followed immediately by Cardiff City versus West Bromwich Albion at Cardiff City Stadium for their final home game of the Championship season. (A quick note for any West Brom fans: we will be seated in the Cardiff home section!)
After the final whistle, we will head back to school, returning around 8:00 pm on Saturday evening following a quick service station stop.
How to Book
Sign-up is initially open to Year 10 and Year 11 pupils on a first-come, first-served basis, but will open up to lower year groups if places do not fill. With only 20 places available in total, make sure to sign up quickly to secure a spot!
Somewhere Over the Rainbow…
…lies our Art building!
Art is at the heart of so much of what we do at Heathfield Knoll, both inside and outside the classroom. From dedicated art residentials to hands-on community projects, our pupils are constantly pushing their creative boundaries, developing their own style, and bringing brilliant ideas to life.
It’s a space where imaginations run wild, confidence grows, and every pupil gets the chance to express themselves — much like when we took part in the Wild in Art trail, which brought us our wonderful Heathfield Penguin!
And on that creative note, we’re thrilled to announce that after being successful in the 'Bunny Ballot', Heathfield Knoll will once again be partnering with St Richard’s Hospice for their 2027 Wild in Art trail, 'The Warrens of Worcester'! Our young artists are already buzzing with ideas to welcome our new bunny sculpture, and we can't wait to share the project with you all as it takes shape.
