Woodland Trust Green Tree Schools Gold Award

We are delighted to announce that Heathfield Knoll has been awarded the Woodland Trust's Green Tree Schools Gold Award, recognising the fantastic commitment shown by pupils and staff to outdoor learning and environmental education.

This achievement is the result of months of hard work across multiple classes, with pupils taking part in a wide range of activities designed to deepen their understanding of our natural environment. From exploring habitats and identifying wildlife to learning about trees, biodiversity and sustainability, pupils have made the most of our wonderfully wooded school site as an extension of the classroom.

One of Heathfield Knoll's greatest strengths is the environment in which we learn. Our grounds provide endless opportunities for curiosity, discovery and hands-on learning, helping pupils develop not only their knowledge of the natural world but also a genuine appreciation for it.

This award recognises the collective effort of so many pupils and staff who have embraced outdoor learning throughout the year, and it reflects our ongoing commitment to providing meaningful experiences beyond the four walls of a classroom.

Congratulations to everyone involved in achieving this fantastic Gold Award!
