Podcasting Club

Amazing Year 5 students have been busy on Tuesday lunchtimes gaining experience and learning new skills through producing podcasts in the Sebright Technology Suite. The students have not only learnt how to use new microphones, iMacs and software, they have also begun to understand how to layer music into their digital audio files before embarking on conversational episodes about such things as Mythical Creatures and Sporting Activities.

We can't wait to share our first episode with you! #podcasting

Heathfield Knoll School now runs a RotaKids Club which has been set up by Mrs Beaumont and is proving to be very popular!

This term pupils have enjoyed designing and decorating a duck house for the fourth Bewdley Duck House Trail Community Art Project. This is apart of the Bewdley Festival which runs throughout October, so please go and view the duck house in Jubilee gardens in Bewdley.

The HK RotaKids have been working with Bewdley Rotary to promote the cause of 'End Plastic Soup'. The pupils have felt very passionate about this cause and as a result decided to theme the duck house on this.

This community driven event raises money for local charities and there is also competition for the best duck house! Please go and visit and get voting. We are house number 13 on the trail! So what are you waiting for get quacking! #duckhouse

Why Heathfield Knoll?

We believe pupils learn, play and interact when their happiness is placed at the foremost of all that we do. Fostering happiness involves embracing all aspects of a child’s development, listening to their concerns and responding to needs as appropriate.

the Headmaster's
Welcome

Choosing the right school for your son or daughter is an important, and at times difficult, decision. So many schools seemingly have a similar offer, how do you make that all important and informed choice?

When I meet prospective parents I sometimes refer to the ‘Goldilocks Test’ – does Heathfield Knoll School feel just right? Of course, academic excellence, nurturing pastoral care and a fulfilling enrichment programme should be taken as read. I invite you to visit HKS to see pupil happiness and positive relationships first hand. You will not be disappointed.
