The Power of School Trips
Some of the most memorable lessons don't take place within four classroom walls.
At Heathfield Knoll, we believe educational visits have the power to inspire curiosity, build confidence, develop independence and bring learning to life in ways that simply can't be replicated back at school. Whether it's a half-day field trip, a museum visit, a residential adventure or an overseas cultural experience, every visit is carefully planned to enrich pupils' education and create memories that last a lifetime.
We are incredibly proud of the breadth of opportunities we provide, a programme that has previously been recognised with a nomination at the School Travel Awards and praised during this year's inspections for the quality of our educational visits.
Looking ahead, there is so much to be excited about. Our overseas cultural tour to Holland and Belgium is taking shape, while our London Theatre Tour returns in October. In September, we will also unveil our new Junior Residential programme and our Live Sports Tour, alongside another packed calendar of day visits and half-day experiences across every year group.
Because some of the best learning happens when you step outside the classroom.
Elevate Performance Academy Summer Camp
Week Two of the Elevate Performance Academy Summer Camp gets underway today at Heathfield Knoll!
If you're looking for an active, engaging and enjoyable way for your child to spend part of the summer holidays, there's still plenty of fun to be had. With a wide range of sports, games and team activities on offer, every day is packed with opportunities to build confidence, develop new skills, make friends and, most importantly, have fun.
We're delighted to see our school site being put to such good use over the holidays and look forward to welcoming another fantastic group of children for an action-packed week.

U18s Chess Tournament – Saturday 1 August
Want to test yourself over the summer ahead of representing Heathfield Knoll in chess matches against other schools next year?
Why not enter the Mayor of Bewdley's Charity Junior Chess Tournament and the Worcestershire Junior Rapid-Play Championships? With Heathfield Knoll developing its school chess team provision next academic year, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable competitive experience before the season begins.

As you can see from the video, it's been a busy day! Football was definitely a favourite, alongside getting creative with arts and crafts, and it's safe to say everyone had earned a well-deserved sit down by home time.
