Sebright Building Update

The independent school in Kidderminster, Heathfield Knoll School joined the KSI Education family in January 2020. In just over a year with the support of KSI, this Worcestershire independent school has gone from strength to strength. With a significant investment at the start of 2020, Heathfield Knoll School, Wolverley Kidderminster, has been able to further expand the curriculum with the construction of the Sebright building. The new Sebright building is named after the school’s founder William Sebright of Wolverley; this recognition is highly apt given the school’s quad centennial celebrations later this year. The new building will provide modern and generously provisioned spaces for music recordings and performances, computing and food technology. The new accommodation has been designed to allow all pupils, from Preschool to secondary age, to access an ever broadening curriculum, including music technology that will use three recording studios, and an Apple computing suite to support the teaching of design and engineering. Along with this exciting new building, there are further plans to develop a new purpose built classrooms, a learning resource centre and an open plan art space. All developments are part of a wider ambition to build on Heathfield Knoll’s reputation as the learning independent school in the Wyre Forest and wider region.
