Ava, Captain of School
Today, we want to take a moment to say thank you—to the people who guide us, support us, and believe in us every day.
Thank you to our friends and classmates: Thank you for the teamwork, the support, and the memories. Our school truly wouldn’t be the same without you.
My journey at Heathfield Knoll has been truly transformative. Starting as a shy girl in Year 7, I’ve grown into a confident young person — thanks to the challenges, support, and countless opportunities offered by the school and its dedicated staff. As I take my next steps into college, I am equipped with the skills, values, and experiences that Heathfield has given me, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything this school has helped me become.
Lily, Prefect
Thank you to our school staff — from the cleaners to the bus drivers — thank you for keeping everything running smoothly. It’s the little things you do that truly brighten our days, such as greeting us with a smile, or wearing Christmas hats at the end of the year.
Since my very first day in Reception, I’ve seen people, uniforms, and even entire buildings come and go—but witnessing all the changes and growth within our school over the years has truly been a wonderful experience.
Sophie, Prefect
Thank you to our teachers: We are truly grateful for your patience, your encouragement, and your endless ways to help us learn and grow, even if we haven’t been the easiest to teach. Please know that everything you’ve done has made a difference and your efforts have not gone unnoticed.
Since joining Heathfield Knoll School in year 6, I have become a more confident person. I think this is down to the continued support and effort of teachers. They help us to grow and to achieve things we are proud of. I’m so grateful for the opportunities our school has given to us as they help us continually learn new things and to face new challenges.
Thank you for being part of our journey. We’re grateful, we’re hopeful, and we’re proud to be part of this school.
Thank you.
