Welcome To Upper School
Heathfield Knoll Upper School is an independent school based within the Wyre Forest countryside and is the ideal environment for your child to explore and develop their potential as an individual. Our aim is to ensure that all pupils have a fulfilling experience and leave as balanced and confident individuals thoroughly equipped for what lies ahead.
Heathfield Knoll is expanding with the construction of the new Sebright building. This building enhances the provision of Music, Food and Computing Technologies.
All pupils are given a full and broad range of choices at Key Stage 4, including GCSE, BTEC and RSL courses. Option blocks are guided by the needs and interests of the pupils.
Pupils are exposed to many different career paths and are fully supported in the decision making process for options post-16.
life in upper school
Through the development of essential life skills and access to a wide range of extracurricular activities, the Upper School provides every pupil with a blend of challenge, discovery and enjoyment. In turn, this furnishes pupils with confidence and ambition for life, the foundations for success.
Growing up can be difficult. Pupils are supported by an established team of skilled well-being and learning support professionals. Pupils are taught in small classes with access to one-to-one and small group tuition to support their learning. The Head of Wellbeing is always available for a friendly chat or to offer guidance.
Heathfield Knoll Upper School classes are small and, regardless of ability, pupils achieve excellent value-added results. Our pupils achieve academic success in their chosen subjects, with the help of a fully supportive environment.
Pupils are encouraged and supported when exploring their future choices. Careers education forms part of our PSHE programme throughout our secondary curriculum. Heathfield Knoll uses pupils' passions and interests to inform the provision of enrichment and reward opportunities.
"Heathfield Knoll Upper School is the ideal environment for your child to explore and develop their potential as an individual."
