Welcome to lower school
In Lower School we pride ourselves on the high quality education we provide for all children, the outstanding relationships that exist between staff and pupils and the variety of experiences on offer.
As well as forming strong relationships with their class teachers, children are able to access specialist teachers for subjects such as music, STEAM, food technology, forest school, and Spanish. Our small classes provide a strong and caring environment which enhances teaching and learning. We ensure that every child progresses well and is happy and involved in their learning.
We adopt a creative, yet personalised, approach to education across the curriculum allowing each individual to flourish and excel in the areas about which they are most passionate. The ability to get to know our children and families so well allows us to use topics that the children are interested in, tailor activities to specific children and provide opportunities for developing interests and strengths, both within lessons and through extra curricular activities.
