Red Nose Day 2021

Supporting charities is something that we always like to do, but this year we know that more people, both in the UK and in other countries around the world, need the support of others. Comic Relief is working hard around the world, supporting with housing needs, coronavirus projects, mental health work and many other issues.

This year Heathfield Knoll has encouraged all of our pupils and families to support this worthwhile charity and join in with our superhero-themed activities.

Children from Early Years up to Year 6 were invited to wear their own homemade superhero costumes. They created their own superhero character, thinking about what characteristics and powers they would display.

Pupils in Years 7-11 were invited to write or produce some artwork about the superpowers they would like to have and what they would do to support others if they had these powers.

“We are so proud to see the creativity that our children put into these tasks and thank you for your support to such a worthwhile cause.” Mrs Griffiths, Assistant Headteacher
