GCSE Results Day 2020

After a difficult summer for pupils around the country, we are delighted that our Year 11 leavers have received the grades they deserve enabling them to progress to the next stage in their education.

The students worked very hard in the build up to their cancelled exams, and they have faced a great deal of uncertainty in recent weeks. They can be confident that they have the foundations on which to build as they move on this autumn. We are very proud of their achievements and we wish them much success.

Lawrence Collins, headmaster, commented ‘In these uncertain times, it has been an anxious few months for Year 11 students, their families and the teachers who have done their utmost to support the students through the most difficult of times. I am pleased that our students and all those receiving results today, now have opportunities to move on to the next stage in their lives and to move beyond the disappointments and frustrations of not completing their school year in the manner with which we would all have hoped.’
